Come join The Pilot Club and VATSUR as we head south of the equator for a South American Adventure.

VATSUR is teaming up with VATUSA to announce the second edition of the VATSUR FNO.

This time we will fly in Caracas (SVMI), Bogotá (SKBO), Rionegro (SKRG), Guayaquil (SEGU), Quito (SEQM) and Lima (SPJC).

As we prepare to embark on our flight from José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport in Guayaquil, Ecuador, to Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru, we will be covering a distance of approximately 400 nautical miles.

This journey promises to be a captivating experience as we take off from a bustling coastal city. As our aircraft ascends, we will have the chance to admire the scenic beauty of Guayaquil, known for its vibrant waterfront and the beautiful Malecón 2000, a picturesque boardwalk along the Guayas River.

Once we are airborne, we'll follow the stunning Pacific coastline, offering us breathtaking views of the ocean and the rugged landscapes of the Ecuadorian coast. As we continue our flight, we will cross the Equator, moving southward toward Lima.

The landscape will gradually shift from lush coastal plains to the arid desert of southern Peru. If the weather is clear, we may catch a glimpse of the Andes Mountains rising majestically in the distance as we approach Lima, the capital of Peru.

During our descent, we will be treated to an impressive view of the sprawling urban landscape of Lima. The city is a vibrant mix of modern skyscrapers and historical colonial architecture, showcasing its rich cultural heritage.

See you in the virtual skies!
