Airliners will depart from KDFW, one of the busiest airports in the U.S., you'll soon witness the beautiful Texas Hill Country, characterized by rolling hills and vibrant wildflowers, especially in spring.
Continuing north, the expansive flat plains of Oklahoma come into view, showcasing the iconic agricultural landscape of the Great Plains.
As you cross into Kansas, be on the lookout for the remnants of the tallgrass prairie, teeming with wildlife. GA and lower aircraft, plan to depart from KDSM, where you’ll initially fly over the serene farmlands of Iowa, where patchwork fields and small towns create a charming rural scene.
As you head northeast, the flight path may take you over parts of Wisconsin's rolling hills, showcasing the lush greenery and vibrant colors, particularly in autumn when the leaves change. Approaching Milwaukee, the winding path of the Missouri River offers a stunning contrast to the flat terrain.
