Coast 2 Coast Canada with TPC Charters
On October 7, 1920, the first trans-Canada flight began in Dartmouth N.S. It was completed on October 17 when the Fairey III C seaplane they were flying landed in Richmond B.C.
Now TPC Charters offers its pilots the opportunity to make their own trans-Canada flight between St. John’s, NL (CYYT) and Victoria, BC (CYYJ) as part of their Coast 2 Coast Canada program.
As with all TPC Charters Coast 2 Coast crossings, flights are done in small GA aircraft and may be made in either direction. Pilots will be awarded 2,500 TPC points for completing one crossing, or 5,000 if they cross in both directions! Flights must include stops along the chain of 22 VA FBOs that have been set up for the journey and needs to consist of at least 11 legs (but to cross Canada, you’ll probably want more).
Coast 2 Coast flights are meant to be a special experience, and thus have no set start or end date, you fly them at your own pace enjoying the sights and some small out of the way airports that you may not otherwise encounter.
For more information or questions, please don’t hesitate to message us in TPC Discord Charters-Chat channel or within the TPC Discord Coast to Coast thread.
